Strand by Strand exhibition is hosting an open mic night on First Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm. The event A Love Letter to My Hair  has been conceptualised by Hazel Mphande and Kamogelo Machaba to create a platform for people to share their testimonies of their relationship and journey with their hair. A mic stand will be placed in the middle of the gallery and all will be welcome to share a piece of poetry, spoken word, and other forms of self expression.
